National Legal Aid Authority

The National Legal Aid Authority is a nationwide authority that makes decisions on matters relating to legal aid.

The function of the authority is to implement decisions by the court on legal aid issues and to make decisions on legal aid in matters that are not dealt with at court. The National Legal Aid Authority also functions as a collection authority on matters relating to the repayment of costs in criminal cases.

The National Legal Aid Authority is located in Sundsvall.
